It reads like a series of really great creation myths that incorporate much of the Western genesis mythology that we learn about in school and uni. Moynihan uses very informal language and an art style that is somewhere between a child’s and a mass-murderer’s.

Re: in and out for the cameras. I was actually thinking about this this morning. How do they cast porn films? I don’t know and now it’s really bothering me. Are there auditions, or are parts offered based on previous work and dick size? maybe there are auditions, maybe they have to make sure the main roles are ‘a good fit’ just like real acting

what i got from louis theroux’s weird weekends episode on porn stars:

you go into a studio, they take a polaroid of you naked and then it gets sent around with your measurements and things until someone picks it. and then you go talk to the people making the movie and they figure out to cast you or not. not really an audition, more a job interview.

basically, take some nudes and give them to creepy men to show to other creepy men until someone wants to film you fucking.
