there are heaps of little nz kids all over last.fm who love monsters of folk and post them all over their tumblrs and i think it makes me hate them even more. i just don’t understand what compelled these four guys to make such overwhelmingly shit music.

When I was writing this list I felt like I was grasping at straws to get to 20 but after a while of being at work I realised there were about a million bands I could have put on there.

I thought Nesian Mystic were a bit shitter than the Mystic River Band. I actually forgot Monsters of Folk existed because we have this joke where someone says their name and then one of us goes, “I love funk music!”
