If you do anything on the Internet you will probably have heard about `hackers’ `infiltrating’ Sarah Palin’s yahoo.com email account and distribution information on the internet about her. Oh, yeah and apparently the account was hacked by a leftist group calling themselves `Anonymous’.
Let’s make some things clear:
a) Cracking a password does not make you a `hacker’.
b) See above.
c) `Anonymous’ is not a group.
d) Anonymous is an adjective. On certain Internet forums posters are anonymous. I am anonymous (well, I would be if I wasn’t so fucking famous thanks to this website), you are anonymous. We are anonymous but we are not `Anonymous,’ the infamous Internet hacking group – FBI targets and menaces to society.
e) Sarah Palin should probably not use Yahoo.com for her personal emails. Yahoo is shit.
f) Sarah Palin should not have discussed political issues in her yahoo.com email inbox.
g) Sarah Palin should have probably tried a bit harder to choose a less obvious email identity, seeing she is a Senator and is McCain’s running mate. gov.palin@yahoo.com and gov.sarah@yahoo.com were probably not the best choices.
h) Mrs. Palin already knew her accounts were crackable, as the FBI or someone already cracked one of her accounts in the Troopergate `scandal.’
i) `Anonymous’ is not the pseudo-militant Internet attack wing of Barack Obama’s political campaign. That is fucking hilarious.

As I have indicated before, the Internet is a pretty funny place that companies like Telecom and Yahoo scare `ordinary people’ (people who don’t know about things like torrenting/proxies/effective use of the blogosphere) with in an attempt to get them to buy their sponsor’s virus protection software.
